Liability Waiver, Release of Claims, and Indemnification Agreement

By participating in any event, program, activity, meeting, golf outing, tournament, clinic, social gathering, or related activity hosted, organized, sponsored, or promoted by the Ladies Executive Golf Society (“LEGS”), I acknowledge and agree to the following:

Assumption of Risk

I understand that participation in golf-related and networking activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, illness, property damage, accidents, or death. These risks may arise from my own actions, the actions of others, environmental conditions, equipment, transportation, or facilities used. I voluntarily assume all such risks, whether known or unknown, foreseeable or unforeseeable.

Release and Waiver of Liability

I hereby release, waive, and forever discharge the Ladies Executive Golf Society, its board of directors, officers, members, employees, volunteers, contractors, sponsors, partners, event venues, affiliates, and representatives from any and all claims, demands, actions, causes of action, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to my participation in any LEGS activity, including claims based on negligence, except where prohibited by law.

Indemnification

I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Ladies Executive Golf Society and all related parties listed above from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from my participation, my actions or omissions, or any breach of this agreement.

Medical Responsibility

I certify that I am physically able to participate in LEGS activities and assume full responsibility for my own health, medical care, and insurance coverage. I understand that LEGS does not provide medical insurance or coverage for participants.

Use of Facilities and Third Parties

I acknowledge that many LEGS activities take place at third-party venues such as golf courses, event spaces, or businesses not owned or controlled by LEGS. I agree that LEGS is not responsible for the condition, safety, or operation of such facilities.

Photography and Media Release

I grant permission to LEGS to use photographs, video, or audio recordings taken during events for promotional, marketing, educational, or informational purposes without compensation or further approval.

Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which the event takes place, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Alcohol Service Acknowledgment and Release

I acknowledge that alcoholic beverages may be served or made available at certain Ladies Executive Golf Society (“LEGS”) events. I understand that the consumption of alcohol is entirely voluntary and that I am solely responsible for my decision to consume alcohol and for my behavior while doing so.

I agree that I will consume alcohol responsibly, in compliance with all applicable laws, and only if I am of legal drinking age. I understand that LEGS does not monitor, control, or assume responsibility for the amount of alcohol consumed by any participant.

I hereby release, waive, and hold harmless the Ladies Executive Golf Society, its board of directors, officers, members, volunteers, sponsors, partners, venues, affiliates, and representatives from any and all claims, damages, injuries, losses, or liabilities arising from or related to the consumption of alcohol at any LEGS event, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or incidents occurring during or after the event.

I further agree to indemnify and defend LEGS and all related parties listed above from any claims or liabilities arising from my alcohol consumption, including claims brought by third parties.

I acknowledge that I am solely responsible for arranging safe transportation to and from LEGS events and that LEGS strongly encourages the use of designated drivers, rideshare services, or other safe transportation options when alcohol is consumed.

Acknowledgment and Acceptance

I acknowledge that I have read and fully understand this Liability Waiver and Release of Claims. I understand that by participating in LEGS activities, registering for events, or maintaining membership, I am voluntarily agreeing to these terms and waiving certain legal rights.
